HS Softball game originally scheduled for tonight at home against Lewistown has been rescheduled for Saturday, 5/29, at 10:00 AM. The game will be a varsity ONLY contest at Havana.

Our St. Jude Celebration ended today with the "Kiss the Pig" event! Mrs. Heye and Mr. Hawkins were the lucky winners this year!! We would like to thank them for being such good sports..and thank the Hodgson Family for providing this cute little pig! We raised almost $800 in the coin wars alone, for St. Jude...Go Ducks!
Andi Specketer just completed 2 years in the Promise Program, which is part of IMSA. This program encourages problem solving and hands on research through math and science. Andi’s favorite part of the program was the water cycle and pathogens. We are so proud of you, Andi!

The High School Track Team hosted Delavan, Midwest Central and Illini Central last night. There were a lot of great performances, lots of new PRs and both teams won their respective team contests! Go Ducks!! Here is the link to the results.

High School Wrestling (15-0) picked up 3 wins tonight, including one against 4th ranked Vandalia. We defeated Auburn 57-22, Hillsboro 57-24 and the 4th ranked Vandalia 42-33!

Mrs. Tomm's Science classes finalized their crime scene projects today and groups had the chance to solve each crime/situation. We might have some future crime scene investigators in our District! Go Ducks!
Havana Ducks youth boys basketball camp is scheduled for June 7th-10th at the Havana High School gym. Boys entering 3rd-5th grades next year from 8:00-9:45 AM and those entering 6th-8th grade from 10:15-12:00. Camp forms have been sent home but extras are available at both New Central and the Junior High. Completed forms can be turned into both offices as well.
