Reminder the dance clinic performance will be at halftime of JV boys basketball game tonight 2/2. Participants should arrive around 6pm for start of game and stay with parents until conclusion of the floor cheer at the end of 1st quarter. They may then join the HS dancers in the front foyer for a brief practice before halftime. After halftime please return to the foyer to pick up your children. Thank you! Go Ducks!

The Mighty Ducks fought hard and earned a 2nd-place finish at Regionals today! They secured a win in their first game and gave it their all in the second. We’re proud of their effort, teamwork, and determination! 🦆💙

Tomorrow is the first school day of a new month. Last month, New Central had 91% attendance. We are hoping to beat that number for February! We can't wait to see all of our ❤️Kind-Hearted❤️ students tomorrow morning!

The Individual Sectional will be Friday, February 13th and Saturday, February 14th. HS boys lose to a tough opponent Macomb 53-33.

Happy Friday! Our 4th grade backpack group was busy once again passing out weekend food sacks for students. We extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who helps support this important program. Your efforts are appreciated!

Today, a group of 17 high school students participated in the first stage of our new Portrait of a Graduate project. The student focus group was the first of four groups (parents, educators and employers being the others) collaborating on redefining what a graduate of Havana High School will be capable of after they walk across the stage. We are proud of our students for participating and helping paint a picture of what they believe a successful future requires.

5th and 6th Grade Boys pick up big wins over PORTA tonight at HOME. Go Ducks!!

8th grade boys fall short in Pittsfield for the Regional championship. Rushville is able to hold off the Ducks 38-31. The boys battled but just couldn't get it done over the #1 seed. A great season boys and we look forward to watching you in the future!

High School Lady Ducks get a win on the road 68-17 vs Bushnell. Way to girls!

Reminder the HHS Dance Clinic is tomorrow Friday 1/30. Registered children will be dismissed directly to the Dance Team in the cafeteria. Parent showcase will be in the New Central gym starting promptly at 3pm. All children should be picked up by 315pm. They will perform at halftime of the JV game on Monday 2/2.

The girls high school basketball game today 1/29 will be a varsity only beginning at 6:00. BPC is short some players due to illness.

JH boys basketball survive round 2 (44-40) to advance to the championship tomorrow night. They will play Rushville at Pittsfield. Well done boys!!
