We love seeing our students learning from one another across grade levels! ❤️ The Senior Calculus class spent time with our elementary students this morning, coding robots with 4th graders and reading with our kindergarteners, even helping them story map outside in the beautiful weather. We are so grateful for the leadership, kindness, and example these seniors provide for our young students. Special thanks to Mr. Opp for making this happen! #AllDucksFlyTogether

Mighty Ducks Track Regionals Success! Our Mighty Ducks Track Athletes had an incredible showing at Regionals today, bringing home a total of 13 medals — including 6 GOLD! 🥇 These athletes showed determination, sportsmanship, and heart in every event. We are so proud of the hard work they’ve put in all season, and it truly paid off on the track! Way to go, Mighty Ducks! 💚🦆 #DuckPride #SpecialOlympics #HardWorkPaysOff

JH Track had a great Invite at PORTA today! Plenty of medals and Personal Bests! Shoutout goes to Drake Skaggs for breaking his own school record in the Discus after throwing a personal best for a 1st place win. Great job to Drake and all the athletes! Go Ducks!

Gotta brag on our creative New Central teachers for keeping students engaged as the year starts to wind down! Ms. Roskelley (a very loyal Cardinals fan) challenged her class to memorize the Preamble and if they did, she’d wear Cubs gear for a day. Well…check the photo to see how that turned out! 😆 And over in Mrs. Witherell’s class, where there was a "Teacher for a Day” take over! Mr. Denahi Benton led the class with pride and even planned a fun activity for his classmates. We can’t wait to see what else our staff has planned for May. Our students are so lucky to be surrounded by such caring, thoughtful teachers. #AllDucksFlyTogether

Bee Hive coffee shop will be serving at this mornings baseball game. Hot/Cold coffee, as well as lotus drinks! There will also be a a table set up selling baseball hats, and other baseball apparel. Don't miss out!

Attendance Fact #5 Missing "a little school here or there" can add up quickly! To help your child develop strong attendance habits, schedule appointments and trips outside of school hours when possible and send students to school unless they are truly too sick to attend. Let's finish the year strong! There are lots of fun activities coming up that students won't want to miss!

DUCKS @ Chargers

Today our life skills class took a field trip to Fairview Cafe! The owner, Cassie, took time to answer questions the students had prepared about what it’s like to run a business. She shared great insight and real-world experiences that made the learning meaningful and engaging. The students did an awesome job asking thoughtful questions—and of course, they absolutely loved the food! 🍽️

JH track canceled at Farmington today based on the forecast. Home high school meet today in Havana is also canceled.
