Check out our very first Duck Bill Cart celebration! 🪩 Students work hard to earn Duck Bills throughout each school day by following expectations and making positive choices. On SIP days, they get to spend their earnings on a variety of fun items from the cart and it’s always a party when the cart rolls in! Today, Mrs. Bryant and Mrs. Lee brought the disco vibes, and Mrs. Lee even provided some dance instruction! As you can see from the pictures, a groovy time was had by all! 🕺💃🪩

Several 8th grade students helped the PreK teachers move and spread mulch to improve the safety of the PreK playground. Older ducks looking out for younger ducks, even on the playground!

🍕 Fun Friday in HHS Life Skills!🍕

For our first cooking activity of the school year, our students did a wonderful job making their very own pizzas! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳 They practiced following a recipe, gathering ingredients, measuring, assembling, and cooking their pizzas—all while building important independent living skills.

After enjoying their delicious creations, the students completed a quiz reviewing the recipe, ingredients, and steps they followed. They worked hard and did an amazing job!

What a fun and successful way to kick off our cooking activities for the year! 🍕❤️💙
