This Friday the 13th, we’ve brought in a very motivated specialist to assist with our American Red Cross Blood Drive in the HHS Gym. He's trading in his usual tools for a sterile needle and a lab coat, and we think he'll make a compelling argument for donation!

Our students wasted no time putting the washers to work. For their first experiment, they designed and built foil boats, then tested how many washers their boats could hold before sinking. The excitement, problem solving, and teamwork were so fun to watch!
We are so grateful for community partners like Ace Hardware and we can’t wait to see what future experiments and learning adventures these materials inspire!

🎊Congratulates🎊 Kasyn on breaking the second school record of the day! This time she breaks the indoor 1️⃣6️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ record with a 5:46.72. The previous record was 5:54.75.
🏃♀️HS Track🏃♀️brought some girls to the CENTRAL ILLINOIS HIGH SCHOOL INVITATIONAL. We had the trek all the way to Charleston to have tough competition. Proud of how the girls performed today! They finished 2️⃣1️⃣ out of 7️⃣1️⃣ teams.
