🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️Junior High Cross Country season begins on Monday, August 3rd for students in 5th-8th grade!!! Practice will take place at the Riverfront Park near the Nature Center from 8:00-9:00 a.m. Athletes must have a physical to begin practice. All other paperwork will be given that day. If your student-athlete plans to be on the team, please send a text to Coach Heye as soon as possible so she can add you to the team app! 309-696-9759

The 2026 Ducks wrapped up a strong and productive week of summer football! 🏈 Monday & Tuesday: Team camp at Monmouth College with Ridgeview-Lexington 🏈 Wednesday: 7-on-7 at Canton 🏈 Thursday: Finished the week at home hosting a 7-on-7 with Illini West and South Fulton We’re proud of the effort, energy, and growth our players showed throughout the week. Every rep helped us get better. Go Ducks!

After discussing it with our coaching staff, the Athletic Director, and the Superintendent, we have decided that we will need to hold tryouts. In order to provide effective practices and create the best possible learning environment for our athletes, we feel this is the best approach. Summer Strength & Conditioning resumes tomorrow morning at 8:00 AM! We’re excited to kick off the second half of our summer training. High School Football Camp also begins tomorrow evening and will run Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM–7:00 PM. Please note that the camp time has changed from the original schedule of 6:00–8:00 PM. There will be a $15 camp fee to help cover the cost of camp shirts. In addition, every player who attends all five days of camp will receive a free pair of Nike Elite game socks that we’ll wear during the season. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow morning for strength & conditioning and all of our football players tomorrow evening for camp. Let’s have a great week! Go Ducks!

Reminder: June 29 – July 5 is the IHSA-mandated Dead Week. During this time, there will be no workouts, practices, camps, or any team-affiliated activities. If you have any questions, please reach out to your athlete’s coach. We look forward to seeing everyone back when workouts resume at 8:00 AM on Monday, July 6.
