We had over 20 JV matches and was able to get everyone at least one match.

Santa's helpers from the Ladies' Auxiliary of the VFW visited New Central yesterday. Through generous donations they were able to provide a toy and a treat for every student! Thank you very much!
New Central students created a Holiday Wonderland with their hallway decorations this year. Celebrity judges from the HS, JH, and the community toured the building and rated each hall. The winners were: 3rd place and Best Use of Student projects - 1st grade. 2nd place and Most Creative - 3rd grade. Overall winner and reigning champion - 2nd grade. Thanks to everyone who helped judge including administrators, first responders, Mayor Stadsholt, and Mrs. Brady's JH class.
New Central 3rd and 4th grade presented their Winter Concert last night under the direction of Mrs. Staisha Oest. It was a wonderful evening of Christmas music, student recitations, and an amazing lighted bucket drum performance. Congratulations to Mrs. Oest, her team, and NC students!

HSGBB has been busy. We had JV & Varsity wins over Rushville last Friday, attended the Illini vs. Mizzou game as a team on Sunday, and had JV & Varsity wins over Farmington last night. Next up, we host Tremont on Thursday. A shortened JV game will start at 6 varsity will follow.
