Mrs. Brady's class is studying the Winter Olympics. Last week, we collected some fresh snow and today we used it to make snow ice cream. We also read a story about snow and watched video clips of various Winter Olympic sports.

Final reminder if you signed your child up for the Barbie Dance clinic it is this Friday 1/26 immediately after school at NC. Children will be dismissed to the dancers you do not need to pick them up until parent showcase at 3pm! They will now perform at halftime of the Varsity game on Tues 1/30 since Cheer clinic performance will be JV halftime. Please share

Today, more groups of HS students visited the Spark! Places of Innovation exhibit at the City Center. The special program for this week is an exhibit featuring unique artifacts and memorabilia from Havana's past curated by Tami Davidage of the Mason County Genealogical & Historical Society. Go Ducks!

Miss Harris' class made a HelloFresh meal today, and learned some new skills, such as mincing garlic & parsley, deglazing a pan, and cooking raw shrimp! The Garlicky Shrimp Couscous turned out wonderful, and the students had a fun time in the kitchen!
