JHGBB Lady Ducks hosted Pleasant Plain tonight. 7th grade played well but came up just a little short. 8th grade won 35-15 powered by another excellent second half. Go Ducks!!

Reminder: Havana 126 is on our SIP Schedule tomorrow for early dismissal...11:50 at the JH, 11:55 at the HS, 12:05 at New Central. Students will be sent home with a sack lunch, breakfast will be provided as usual. Don't forget to set those clocks back Saturday evening...Go Ducks!

The HHS cross country team got together this evening to celebrate and recognize the achievements of the team this year. Thank you to the administration, school board, booster club, and parents that helped make this a successful season for our student-athletes. Go Ducks!




Congrats to the following HHS seniors on being named Illinois State Scholars: Jack Dearing, MacKenzie Showalter, McKinlee Metz, Kyli McCorkle, Rilee Fletcher, and Damian Worden. State Scholars represent the top 10% of graduating seniors based upon 6th semester unweighted GPA and ACT/SAT test scores. Go Ducks!

New Central families: information is coming home with students today, Oct 31, about the Turkey Trot taking place in November. PTO is sponsoring the event and will be purchasing T-shirts for all students who participate in the run. To ensure the proper T-shirt size, please return the order form by Friday, November 3.
