We are extremely excited to announce that Mason District Hospital is going to be providing NO COST sports physicals again this summer for student athletes! The two dates to put on your calendar are Thursday, June 13th, and Thursday, June 27th, at Havana High School from 9-11:30 AM on each date. See the attached flyer for additional details. Havana boys basketball youth camp is May 28-31 for boys entering 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades next year. Cost is $15. Forms can be turned into the HJHS office or the New Central Elementary school office and should be turned in by May 21st in order to receive a camp t-shirt. HS boys baseball regional quarterfinal game between Havana and Illini Central will start at 4:30 PM this afternoon. With this game being an IHSA regional game, admission will be charged at the gate at a cost of $5 per person per IHSA rules. Arrive early for the game so you are their to see the first pitch. Go Ducks!
IHSA girls softball regionals will begin today at Havana High School. The first game of the afternoon will be between Triopia and Lewistown starting at 3 PM. Havana and West Prairie are tentatively scheduled to begin their game around 4:30 PM or 30-40 minutes following the first game. With today being an IHSA regional, admission will be taken at the gate at a cost of $5 per person (baby in arms free). Arrive early in order to be prepared for both games. Go Ducks!
IHSA boys baseball regional game scheduled for today between Illini Central and Havana has been postponed to tomorrow, Wednesday, 5/15. Game will start at 4:30 PM. Go Ducks!
HS girls softball IHSA Regional game between Triopia and Lewistown will be postponed today, Tuesday, 5/14. The game will be played tomorrow, Wednesday, 5/15, starting at 3 PM at Havana. The Havana v. West Prairie game will be played tomorrow as well starting around 4:30 PM or following the first game. Go Ducks!

Unfortunately, due to the weather, the HS boys baseball game with Illini Central was postponed in the top of the first inning. Details on the makeup date will be given once it's all settled. Thanks to all the baseball players, coaches, and Shawn Minor for the help in trying to make it happen after the first round of rain! We appreciate it all tremendously! Go Ducks!
After meeting with umpires and both of the coaches for Illini Central and Havana, today's IHSA regional game will start when both teams are ready. Fans should arrive by 5 PM just in case the game starts early. Both teams would like to start early due to unknown weather. Go Ducks!

Attention all future volleyball players!
HJHS is offering their volleyball camp for students going into grades 4th-8th next year. This camp is held on June 6th-7th at Havana High School
Forms can be picked up in the HJHS and New Central offices. Forms and money must be turned in by May 24th to receive a shirt.
Students in the HS Interior Design class used all of the bottle caps the community helped save for them to make custom cacti for Los Charros. A few students dropped them off last week. Go enjoy them on the patio. Go Ducks!
