Any students taking dual credit courses through Spoon River College, please make sure you are checking your email regularly and logging into your account by Monday, August 19th. New Central Elementary will host a Meet-the-Teacher Night Monday evening, August 19, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Students are encouraged to bring their school supplies at that time. Class lists will be posted Tuesday afternoon, August 13, after 3:00.

Reminder... Havana School District #126 registration for the 2024-25 school year is tomorrow, Thursday, August 8th, at the Havana Junior High School. Registration times will be 9 AM - 1 PM and 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM. Those unable to make it tomorrow can come to the any of the school offices from August 12th-16th between 7:30 AM - 2 PM to register your child. Just a friendly reminder to all of those students planning on participating in an extracurricular activity this Fall (or during the 2024-25 school year)... any student planning to participate in an extracurricular activity must have a valid physical in order to participate. This is a reminder that Havana 126 registration for the 24-25 school year is this Thursday, August 8th, at Havana Junior High. Registration times will be 9am-1pm and 2:30pm-5:30pm.
If you cannot make it this Thursday, you can come in to the JH August 12-16 and register your child between the hours of 7:30am-2pm in the office.

The HS golf season starts Monday, August 12th. For the first week of practices from 8/12 - 8/14. Practices will be from 1:00-3:45 PM. The team will leave from behind the weight room at 12:15 PM and should return about 4:30 PM. Save the date…a player/parent meeting for all IHSA fall athletes will take place at the Havana High School football field on Tuesday, August 6th, at 6 PM. Meet in the home field bleachers. Any athletes participating in high school sports during the fall season and their parents, as well as junior high football athletes and parents, should plan to attend the meeting. Coaches will hand out important information, including team schedules and team rules at the meeting. Go Ducks!
