HS Volleyball opens their season at HOME tonight vs Athens. There will be a C match starting at 5pm, then JV at 6pm, Varsity to follow. Go Ducks!

JH Softball @Rankin Canceled: No Practice (reschedule TBD)
5th grade beginning band night will be this Tuesday, August 27 from 4:00pm-6:00pm in the junior high band room. This is a drop in and drop out situation to get your 5th grader signed up for band! We have been learning about all the instruments and how fun it is to be a part of band. I hope to see you there!! If you can’t make it Tuesday night please reach out to me at awiegers@havana126.net. Mighty Ducks had a successful day at bowling regionals! Congratulations to all of our of our Special Olympics athletes who brought home a total of 4 ribbons and 7 medals. Caleb Blakely and Samantha Redd will advance on to sectionals in November. Way to go Mighty Ducks 🎳🦆
Havana Junior High Cross Country home meet on Monday, August 26 has been rescheduled to Wednesday, August 28 at 4:00.
Save the date! New Central school pictures will be Wednesday, September 18. Information will be coming home with students the week of September 9.
The HS XC meet in Farmington at 4pm on Monday August 26th has been moved to Wednesday August 28th due to the potentially high temperatures. Go Ducks!

The boys golf match at Sunset Hills in Pekin for tomorrow (8/20) has been cancelled.
New Central Elementary will host Meet-the-Teacher Night on Monday, August 19, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Students are encouraged to bring their school supplies. Please use the W1 entrance by the office.

The next Havana Junior High Cross Country practice will be Friday, August 16 from 8:00-9:00 at Veterans. We will also have a make-up practice on Saturday, August 17 from 8:00-9:00 at Veterans. Saturday's practice is OPTIONAL so no worries if you have plans already. Go Ducks!
It is so exciting to have the new field for softball this season. In an effort to maintain the facilities there will not be parking allowed in the grass. You are more than welcome to sit in the outfield, but please park in the parking lot. Thank you for working with us and we look forward to seeing everyone at the games this year.
