Students in Foods 2 are in the Dairy Unit. They did a cheese tasting of all different types of cheeses. Alex Oxendine volunteered to try all the cheeses and guess which cheese is what. He guessed every cheese correctly. He is a cheese whiz! Students are excited to make homemade ice cream, prepare for the 2nd annual Grilled Cheese competition, as well as make their own butter. Congratulations to Drake Skaggs and Kasyn Jibben for breaking JH Track records at yesterday's Track meet! Drake broke the boy's discus record by throwing a PR of 126' 10" and Kasyn Jibben broke the girl's mile record by running a PR of 5:48.4h! Go Ducks! Way to work!
Havana Football will be hosting camps again this summer. The high school camp will run 7/28-8/1 and the junior high camp will be 7/23-7/24. A youth camp is in the works as well, more details to follow about it.
