Mia Thomas earned a positive office referral for hard work. She spun the Wheel of Fabulous Prizes and won a free game of bowling. Thank you to The Paddlewheel and other community businesses for helping us reward our students for their great choices!

Today was Kindergarten’s last Color Day — and what a special one to finish with! 🌸 Each Thursday, our kinders have celebrated a new color as they focused on it throughout the week. This week’s color, pink, is extra meaningful as we join together for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 💕 Our students and staff proudly wore pink and white to show their support, kindness, and hope.

New Central recently had another student announcer. We are proud of our young leaders stepping up to start our day off on the intercom! ✨ A Warm Welcome to Our New Social Worker! ✨ We’re also excited to introduce our new social worker, Taylor Cooper, who has been absolutely amazing these past few weeks! She jumped right in, learning the ropes and taking on important tasks such as leading social-emotional lessons in the classrooms, helping individual students who need extra support, and diving into our special education programs to make sure every student gets the care and attention they deserve. Her hard work has already made a significant impact, and we’re so grateful to have her on our team! 🌱❤️

Attention families with bus students...due some construction delays, 3 of our buses might be behind today: #16, #19 #22 buses could be 5-20 mins late, depending on when they leave town, but they are headed your way. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Today, the students in Advanced Biology took a field trip to Emiquon. They learned about the history of the wetland, the signs of a healthy wetland, collected samples, and took them back to the Therkildsen Field Station to examine all of the macro-invertebrates that they found. Everyone stayed dry (almost) and had a great time. Go Ducks!
