Today, the students in Advanced Biology completed a starfish dissection. Starfish belong to a unique group of marine animals known as echinoderms, and the students enjoyed observing them first hand. Go Ducks!

On Tuesday, November 12, students and staff at New Central welcomed nearly 40 area Veterans for their annual Veterans Day celebration. Students sang several songs, read poems, and gave each veteran cards and notes. Each veteran introduced themselves and told where and when they were stationed. We are so proud of our local veterans!!

HHS sophomores attended a Career Expo event held on the campus of Spoon River College in Canton today. Students participated in hands-on career related activities and had the opportunity to interact with representatives from many career fields. Thanks to SRC for hosting this meaningful event!
