
Junior High Cross Country is off to a great start!


New Central Meet the Teacher Night is Wednesday, August 14 from 5:30-7:00. This is for students in grades 1-4. Kindergarten orientation will be August 16 at 9:30 or 1:30. Parents and students can meet their kindergarten teachers at either time. Students are encouraged to bring their school supplies to both events. School supplies will be available at New Central during both events as well. August 16 is a full day for grades 1-4.

Havana School District registration for all schools is at the Junior High cafeteria from 9:00 to 1:00 and 2:30 to 6:00 tomorrow August 07. Please bring any documents like physicals & shot records, etc... with you. You may pay fees by cash, check or credit card. See you tomorrow.

We have some equipment we are getting rid of from the Fitness Center...4 machines: leg press, chest press, bicep/tricep machine and leg extension...still in good shape...contact nbrady@havana126.net if interested.





The Mason County Health Department will be holding an immunization clinic on Wednesday August 7th 2019 from 7am-11:30am during Havana’s school registration at Mason County Health Department. This is a walk in clinic so NO appointment is needed. Please bring a current shot record and current insurance card

Lady Ducks had a fun and relaxing day spending time as a team yesterday @Norris Outdoor and Adventure. This is an outstanding group of girls who are all coming together to make a great team. I'm excited about our upcoming season. Go Ducks!





New Central families: Registration for ALL grade levels will take place Wednesday August 7th, 9:00-1:00 and 2:30-6:00. Registration for ALL schools will take place in the JH cafeteria.

We would like to invite our new 5th grade students and parents for 5th grade orientation. We will meet on Monday, August 12th, at 6:30 in the gym. Please bring your schedule that you will receive at registration.
As a reminder, registration will be at the Junior High for all grade levels (K-12) on August 7. Times will be from 9:00-1:00 and then 2:30-6:00.

Important upcoming dates for Junior High football (students entering grades 6-8 this year):
Player/parent meeting - Thurs, Aug 8 at the HS cafeteria
Equipment handout - Mon, Aug 12 8:30-10:00 AM behind the JH by the boys locker room doors
First practice - Wed, Aug 14 - 3:30-5:30 PM at the JH

Reminder: JHXC starts Monday 8/5, all HS Sports start Monday 8/12. All athletes need an up-to-date Physical in order to practice, so make sure u have it scheduled or completed by Day 1. Go Ducks!

High school and Junior High Football Parent meeting will be next Thursday, August 8th at 5:00 in the high school cafeteria. If you cannot attend, Contact Coach Southwood for JH and Coach Wright for HS. Paperwork and schedules will be passed out and will also be available at registration.

Reminder that junior high football camp for all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders starts tomorrow, Tuesday, July 30, and runs through Thursday, August 1. Camp is from 8:30-10:30 AM at the junior high football practice field behind the Havana Junior High School. Camp is free to attend.
