Mighty Ducks Gymnastics brought home a total of 23 GOLD medals, and 7 SILVER medals at regionals! We are SO proud of our athletes for all of their hard work they put in this season!
8th grade girls come away with a big win at the PORTA Invite today for JH Track! Olivia Duncan broke her shot record again, and Drake Skaggs broke his discus record. Keep putting in the work, Ducks! Great job to all the athletes!🦆👟

Due to a water main issue, Pearl St. is closed, in front of New Central, for the rest of the day.
All students will dismiss at the usual time from the back circle drive. Buses will be on High St. (closed to traffic). Town students will dismiss shortly after busses leave. Parents may wait in vehicles or on the blacktop.

Today, the students in Advanced Biology took a field trip to Emiquon. They learned about the history of the wetland, the signs of a healthy wetland, collected samples, and took them back to the Therkildsen Field Station to examine all of the macro-invertebrates that they found. Everyone stayed dry (almost) and had a great time. Go Ducks!
HS Track hosts their final home meet today at 4:00. We welcome Peoria Heights, Virginia, PORTA, and ISD. This will also be their Senior Recognition Meet! Come out and support these athletes and all their dedication to the program. Go Ducks!! 🦆

New Central students created a flower garden art project, each flower representing how much they’ve grown this year, socially, emotionally, and academically.
Just like flowers, our students have blossomed in their own unique ways, and we couldn’t be prouder!
