For any incoming 6th-8th grade girls interested in JH softball this fall, practices will begin on Monday, July 29, 2024, from 4:15-6:15 PM at the softball field located between the baseball field and track. Practices will continue all week (July 29 - August 2) from 4:15-6:15 PM. A short parent meeting will take place after the first practice at the softball fields (right after practice is finished). Any girl planning to participate must have a valid sports physical in order to start practice. The Havana Football Team will be having our annual golf outing this upcoming Friday, June 21st. The fun kicks off at 12:00 P.M. at Shambolee Golf Course. For those planning to attend, a staging area will be in the Havana High School cafeteria and cave. Please enter at either the back doors of the building by the HS fitness center or at the front of the building at the main gym entrance doors. All IHSA and IESA sports physical forms will be available upon arrival. Just a reminder that any student planning on participating in an extracurricular activity next school year MUST have a valid physical on file in order to participate. Special Olympics Summer Games have come to a close and The Mighty Ducks had an awesome weekend! Between our 7 athletes in track and gymnastics, they brought home 7 🥇 gold medals, 7 🥈silver medals, 3🥉bronze medals, a 4th and a 5th place ribbon!

4th-8th graders had a lot of fun learning volleyball skills and playing games the last 2 days. Both sessions were full of energy, determination, and lots of fun.
