We have two wrestlers still active in the Fresh/Soph State Tournament. Zaden Cooper (101) just won a match in the Blood Round and will wrestle for a medal. Isaac Guinan (285) has an upcoming Blood Round Match.
Varsity State is tomorrow.

Congrats to Adam Bohm on his 11th place overall finish in the 800m Run at todayâs IHSA State Track Meet! Adam had a stellar Track and Cross Country career and we wish him luck as he will continue his running career at Minnesota State University.

JH boys basketball open gyms will be starting on Monday, June 21 for those boys entering 5th through 8th grade. Open gyms will be at the Havana Park District gym and will be conducted by 5th/6th grade coach Josh Peterson. 5th and 6th grade boys from 9:00-10:15 AM and 7th and 8th grade boys from 10:30-NOON. Great opportunity to get better for those interested!

Time for a little cleanup around the FFA Plot
Today was Monday Fun Day at Summer Academy. Students Zoomed with camping and hiking expert Sierra Jockisch of SMOR adventures from Florida. They learned the basics of packing to hike or camp.
Also, Havana native and author Lynda Lippert Jordan visited today. Her book, Cloudy the Wonder Horse and His 12 Perfectly Imperfect Friends celebrates everyoneâs differences. Lynda (Lexi Jordan) read her book and left a signed copy for the New Central library. What a great day!
High School Wrestling won the regional title, placing 1st out of 22 teams. 9 wrestlers advance to the Sectional next week, back at Heyworth.
