New Central students competed in the Blue Stem Challenge Tuesday morning. Any student reading 10 or more of the 20 Blue Stem books was able to compete. The participants answered questions related to the books that they had read. Challenge winners were: 4th place - Kramer Wilcoxen, 3rd place - Aiden Southwood, 2nd place - Truman Towery, and 1st place - Karsyn Huber. Great job to all students in the Blue Stem program this year!

Thank you to all of the student-athletes and coaches that just finished their winter seasons this past week, specifically those that participated in high school boys and girls basketball, cheer and dance, and scholastic bowl, as well as junior high boys basketball, volleyball, and cheer. We'd also like to thank the parents, family members, and fans of our winter sports athletes. We know that everyone had to deal with circumstances that weren't normal this year, but your help this season made it possible to provide our students with the opportunities they rightfully deserved. We look forward to starting our new "Spring" sports season this week followed by our "Summer" sports later this year.
