Time for a little cleanup around the FFA Plot




Today was Monday Fun Day at Summer Academy. Students Zoomed with camping and hiking expert Sierra Jockisch of SMOR adventures from Florida. They learned the basics of packing to hike or camp.
Also, Havana native and author Lynda Lippert Jordan visited today. Her book, Cloudy the Wonder Horse and His 12 Perfectly Imperfect Friends celebrates everyone’s differences. Lynda (Lexi Jordan) read her book and left a signed copy for the New Central library. What a great day!





High School Wrestling won the regional title, placing 1st out of 22 teams. 9 wrestlers advance to the Sectional next week, back at Heyworth.

Ducks fall 3-1 to Camp Point Central in the IHSA Sectional championship

Camp Point strikes first in the IHSA Sectional championship by taking a 2-0 lead. Off to the top of the 3rd. Top of the order for the Ducks

HS Boys Baseball travels to Camp Point Central High School for the IHSA Sectional Championship today. First pitch is at 4:30 PM. There is no cost for admission. No concessions at Camp Point HS. Fans will need to bring their own seating (lawn chairs, etc.). Winner of the game will advance to the IHSA SuperSectional game on June 14th at LincolnLand College in Springfield. Contrary to what has been posted, the game will NOT be livestreamed by Camp Point Central. Those wanting to watch will need to attend in-person. Go Ducks!

High School Wrestling (37-5) added three wins tonight against Illini West, Metro East Lutheran, and Rochester. We ended the regular season ranked 3rd in 1A.
Regional is Sunday at Heyworth. $10 entree fee per spectator.

Some fantastic finishes by our HS girls track athletes at the IHSA State Meet at EIU today. Angel Cleer finishes 22nd overall in the High Jump. Kalei McDaniel 21st overall in the 3200M run. Krista Koke takes 9th place and medals in the 800M run! Great work by the girls today!

Excellent week in the gym for the boys basketball youth camp this week! Thanks to all the boys for coming, as well as all of their hard work this week! Go Ducks!

The Boys Track Team had a good day on a hot track at the Rushville Sectional. Several athletes capped off their seasons with personal records on a tough night to compete. Congrats to Adam Bohm who advanced to next week’s State Track Meet in the 800m run. GO DUCKS!!
