2022 REGISTRATION is OPEN at HIGH SCHOOL. Registration for students returning to Havana School District is open for the High School at this time. The other schools will not be open until August 02. I am doing this as the trial run to make sure we have it set up correctly for the district. All you need to do is login to your alma account and make sure you are in the correct school year. Then go to Alma start and complete the form "Havana High School Registration Form - Returning Students 2022" The directions if you need them are at this link. https://5il.co/uuoo Note: If you have issues I am going on vacation July 02. The office will be closed until August 02. Please wait until then to call to ask questions. Do not call the district office. I am the one that set it up and am the one that knows how to fix it. Look what came in the mail today…IHSA Regional championship plaques for our HS girls softball and HS boys baseball teams! Fantastic spring season by both teams! Go Ducks!
Everyone wrestled hard today! Each guy won at least a match and represented the school with class.
Cagle was a win away from the medal stand.
Barner only lost to medal winners.
Reed was wrestling hard before having to injury default.
Dick lost to the kid who placed 3rd.

Wrestling update:
We have two wrestlers still active in the Fresh/Soph State Tournament. Zaden Cooper (101) just won a match in the Blood Round and will wrestle for a medal. Isaac Guinan (285) has an upcoming Blood Round Match.
Varsity State is tomorrow.

All girls interested in playing Junior High Softball next season, Coach Rusty Sarnes would like you to send an email notifying your intent to play next season during the Fall of 2021. This would be for girls entering 6th, 7th, or 8th grades. His email is sarnes2@hotmail.com.

Congrats to Adam Bohm on his 11th place overall finish in the 800m Run at today’s IHSA State Track Meet! Adam had a stellar Track and Cross Country career and we wish him luck as he will continue his running career at Minnesota State University.
All students planning on participating in extracurricular activities next school year...plan your physicals now to make sure they are done by the time sports start in August. Now, is the best time to get them scheduled. Fall activities will be here before you know it. Go Ducks!
JH boys basketball open gyms will be starting on Monday, June 21 for those boys entering 5th through 8th grade. Open gyms will be at the Havana Park District gym and will be conducted by 5th/6th grade coach Josh Peterson. 5th and 6th grade boys from 9:00-10:15 AM and 7th and 8th grade boys from 10:30-NOON. Great opportunity to get better for those interested!
