It is homecoming week here in Havana! What a great time of the year for the students, staff, and community. While the traditional homecoming was created around rivals in football, it also represents a celebration of school spirit, making memories, being involved in school activities and just some good old fashioned fun. We encourage every student to get involved and enjoy the week of activities. Go Ducks!


Olympia Invite Results- Over 450 runners from 25 schools were competing. Top 30 runners in each of the 4 races were given medals. Varsity Races: Kasyn J-6th Aiden S -27th. JV Races: Kendall M-26th Desi S-10th Audree M-1st. Phoenix C -28th Raylan L-25th Gavin S-13th



Havana boys played in the PORTA invite today. The team had a season low and each player had personal best on 18 holes!
Miles Chapin placed 8th and was a medalist with an 87!

In Mrs. Grove's Integrated Science class today, students did a lab where they used the properties of a material to identify an unknown substance. Great job today by the students! Go Ducks!

Handicap spectators can enter through Lipcoman’s Service Center which is north of the football field off of Rt 24. Handicap spectators will turn at the Kent Feed sign (west side of Rt. 24) and follow the gravel path to the grass lot in which they can park. Please enter this area off of Rt. 24 ONLY. Non-handicap spectators need to park outside of the fenced area and enter through one of the gates. We have a paved parking lot next to the school and a gravel lot west of the field in which you can park.

Life Skills students were out in the community today touring local businesses. They visited Havana National Bank, Ace Hardware, Wolter's, the library and the post office. We ended with lunch at McDonald's! A beautiful day for a walking field trip.


7th and 8th grade girls basketball teams both fall in close matches to Macomb in their home opener. Back in action on Saturday at home at 10:00am. Keep working hard, Lady Ducks!

This morning FCA members met around the flagpole at 7 AM. Treats were provided by all the local churches here in Havana. It was a great way to start the day. Go Ducks!

The HHS cross country team enjoyed a great meet at Lake Pittsfield. Earning medals this evening were Karlie Hurst (9th) and Korey Hurst (10th). Go Ducks!



Today the Life Skills class went on a trip to Atwater's Operation Christmas Child packing warehouse. They packed a total of 1,088 boxes with toys and necessities for kids all around the world. Our goal was 400 boxes, and we passed that by 10. Looking forward to next time!
