New Central first grade teachers hosted a parent night this week. Parents were invited in to learn about strategies, tips, and techniques for helping their child become a better readers. Participants left with a reading kit full of manipulatives to help their child at home. Thank you to those who attended!

Please mark your calendars: The New Central Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Grade Winter Concerts will be on Thursday, December 5th. We will have the Kindergarten Concert at 6:00pm and the 1st & 2nd Grade Concerts at 7:00pm. More information will be sent home soon. The 3rd and 4th Grades will NOT have a winter concert this year. Students choose a name for themselves and fill out a name tag, listing 3 things they're good at, 1 thing they'd like to accomplish. They then move in five minute intervals shake hands, introduce themselves, share their information and then work on their study guides. Go Ducks!
