Havana Junior High School Cross Country practice will start on Monday, August 1st from 8:00-9:00 AM. The team will meet at the Nature Center on River Front Park each day the first week. Excited to announce former Havana Duck Betsy Speketer was inducted into the NJCAA Women's Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame. Coach Speketer graduated from Havana in 1977 & from ISU in 1981.She coached at Salt Lake CC her record was 545 wins and 196 losses. Go Ducks!

Save the date…a player/parent meeting for all IHSA fall athletes will take place at the Havana High School football field on Thursday, August 4th, at 6 PM. Any athletes participating in high school sports during the fall season and their parents, as well as junior high football athletes and parents should plan to attend the meeting. HHS Dance attended UDA camp at ISU and are bringing home blue superior rating ribbons for both their home routine and performance routine as well as the 110 percent performance trophy give by UDA staff! They can’t wait to show fans all that they learned! Go Ducks!
