Just a reminder that registration for all Havana schools for the 2022-23 school year is today (August 3) from 9:00-1:00 and 2:30-5:30 at the Junior High cafeteria. We would like to see all incoming New Central families in person. Also, please know that because registration is a week earlier, New Central class lists will not be posted until Monday, August 8.

School Registration is tomorrow, Wednesday, August 3rd from 9am-1pm, 2:30-5:30pm. We are having Registration all in 1 location again this year, so you can register your student for all 3 buildings at Havana Junior High, 801 E Laurel, in the cafeteria.
You can pay fees at Registration via cash, check, or credit/debit card. THERE ARE NO FEES FOR ATHLETICS/EXTRA-CURRICULARS THIS YEAR!! All other fees remain the same.
If you cannot make it in person to register your child, you can use Alma Start and register online, or come into the offices next week 8/8-8/12. First day for students is Wednesday, August 17th! Go Ducks!

The Mason County Health Department is offering a walk-in clinic on Wednesday, August 3rd for those that still need their immunizations for the 2022-23 school year. See the attached flyer for times and additional information. Contact the Mason County Health Department with any questions.

If you have the old app, a new update is needed for you to continue using your mobile device and getting pertinent information from the district. Great news for the 2022-23 school year, the Havana School District will NOT be charging extracurricular fees for students interested in participating in district sponsored sports and activities. This is a great opportunity to participate in extracurriculars without the additional cost! Go Ducks!
As we approach the beginning of school and the Fall sports seasons, the Havana School District would like to notify all fans planning to attend home district sporting events that the district will begin selling athletic event passes again during the upcoming 2022-23 school year. Passes can be purchased by parents during school registration next week (Wednesday, August 3rd) or when the district is back in session throughout the school year. These passes are a great option for those fans that plan to attend a large number of home extracurricular activities in the district throughout the year. See the attached flyer for athletic pass prices, as well as admission costs (admission prices exclude sanctioned tournaments by the IHSA, IESA, etc.) for attending events this year. Go Ducks!

A reminder that all students planning on participating in extracurricular activities during the 2022-23 school year must have a valid sports physical before participating with your team during practices and games. These forms can be brought to school registration on Wednesday, August 3rd. Go Ducks!
Havana Junior High School Cross Country practice will start this coming Monday, August 1st from 8:00-9:00 AM. The team will meet at the Nature Center on River Front Park each day the first week. Those interested will need an updated sports physical in order to practice. Physicals can be turned into the coaching staff upon arrival on the first day. After the first practice, a short player/parent meeting will take place with additional details about the upcoming season. One final reminder that Junior High and High School Football Camp starts tonight. Junior High will be from 5-6 p.m. and goes through Wednesday. High School will be from 6-8 p.m. and will run through Thursday. If you havenât filled out a camp form yet, we will have some on site.

All girls interested in junior high softball this Fall (2022-23 school year)...the first practice will be held this afternoon, Monday, July 25th. Practice will take place from 3:30-5:30 PM. All girls must have an up-to-date, valid sports physical in order to begin practice. Girls can bring their completed sports physical form to practice for the coaching staff to collect.
