5th graders learned about volume in math class. They calculated the total volume of each individual box and then combined them all to make their “volume creatures”. Then they found the total volume of their entire creature. Lots of fun and creativity in Math! Go Ducks!

Last Friday, Mrs. Brady's class made sensory sharks with fun noodle's and individual garlic cheese bread to go with our pizza. This week we will be heading to the Peoria chiefs game and learning about Toms River Field of Dreams.

HS track had a great morning and afternoon at the Rob Garcia Invite in Rushville! Jen Bonnett set a new school record in the long jump at 17 feet 2 inches! The previous record was 16 feet 9 inches and had been set by Jenny Trimpe (Kachanuk) in 1978 and tied in 2011 by Skye Mibbs. Congrats to Jen on the great jump! Also, congrats to the whole HS track team on a fantastic day! Go Ducks!
