The Havana School District is excited to announce that Mason District Hospital will once again be providing FREE sports physicals for students this summer. Save the two following dates as options to get your child a sports physical for the 2023-24 school year...Thursday, June 15th and Thursday, June 23rd. Additional information can be found on the flyer attached to this post. A reminder that any student planning on participating in an extracurricular activity next school year must have a valid physical in order to participate. Contact athletic director, Tyler Southwood, at tsouthwood2@havana126.net with any questions. A big thank you to Mason District Hospital for providing this wonderful service and opportunity! Go Ducks!

Today, the students in Advanced Biology took a field trip to Emiquon. They learned about the history of the wetland, the signs of a healthy wetland, collected samples, and took them back to the Therkildsen Field Station to examine all of the macro-invertebrates that they found. Everyone stayed dry (almost) and have a great time. Go Ducks!
