Mrs. Holtman and some of her high school students spread a little love at New Central this week. They brought cookies to decorate for Valentine's Day. Thank you for spreading a little bit of happiness! The third graders loved it, and their teachers did, too.










Mrs. Brady's class completed a Valentine's Day scavenger hunt and did Valentine's Day trivia for our center time today. The kids had to work as teams to complete the scavenger hunt and compete in the trivia game. Team Work Makes the Dream Work! Go Ducks!

Earlier this morning, the Havana Junior High School student body and staff held a quick assembly to congratulate the 8th grade boys basketball team on their fantastic season that ended with an IESA Elite Eight appearance in the 2A state tournament. It was a really tough day for the other 9️⃣. 4️⃣ made it as far as the "blood round" and were a win away while others had some bad luck before that point.
