Tonight was New Central Night at the Peoria Chiefs game. Students who met their Spring Reading Challenge goal earned a free ticket to the game and family members could purchase them at a discounted rate. Carter Hackman's name was drawn to throw out the first pitch at the game! It's was a fun night for those who braved the weather.

Thursday New Central students signed the Bully Prevention Banner. They agreed to Speak Up, Reach Out, and Be a Friend if they see bullying. We reviewed these steps today during the assembly as a wrap up for Bully Prevention Week. Go Ducks!

Wednesday, New Central students enjoyed "Mix-It-Up Lunch". They were encouraged to sit by different people and make new friends.





Monday, New Central students participated in Bully Prevention Assemblies throughout the day. They also got silicon wristbands to wear with tips to stop bullying.
Tuesday, students wrote steps to prevent bullying on orange feet to decorate the halls. Go Ducks!



Perfect day for our 5th grade DARE field trip to watch the Peoria Chiefs and visit Homer.
