Reminder...tomorrow, Thursday, June 21, Havana High School will be hosting NBA/NCAA Shooting Coach David Nurse for a shooting clinic. Clinic is for all boys/girls entering grades 5-12 next year. This is a great opportunity to get better for all players interested in basketball! If interested, you can register before the start of the clinic tomorrow morning. One minor change is the clinic has been moved to the Havana Junior High School gym due to renovations in the high school gym. Please let head varsity boys basketball coach Tyler Southwood know if you have any questions. Hope to see a bunch of Havana Ducks in the gym tonorrow!

Today kicks off the Special Olympics at Illinois State Summer Games. Havana’s team of qualifiers are attending the opening ceremony and will compete on Saturday. Qualifiers include Livy Ferree, Gavin Gilmore, Anthony Lindsey, and Samantha Redd.

On Monday June 11th at 8:00, running club will begin in front of the Junior High School. This will take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for the rest of the summer. All are welcome to attend. Beginners to experienced runners. Lets get in shape and hope to see you there!!!
