Congratulations to the 7th & 8th Grade Boys Basketball teams on their double victory over Delavan in their season opener.

Havana High School boys basketball player/parent meeting is scheduled for tomorrow night, Tuesday October 30 at 6:30 PM in the Havana High School cafeteria. Any HS boys that have interest in playing basketball this season need to attend this meeting. Important information about the upcoming season will be given out during the meeting including schedules, team rules, and other season information.

Life and Physical Science students examined the pH of common household items to determine if they were acidic, basic, or neutral.


Miss Henderson's students making boxes for Project Christmas Child. So far, 6,800 boxes have been assembled and school supplies and toiletries packed into the boxes.

Our 5th and 6th grade also learned about migratory waterfowl and why they get bands around their legs.





5th and 6th grade also learned about various reptiles and amphibians that are native to the region.




The 5th and 6th grade just had an awesome hands on learning experience today at the Emiquon Preserve. Students also received a history lesson about Native American history around the area.




The 5th and 6th grade had a great day at Emiquon Nature Preserve. Students learned about native fish species, plankton in our Illinois waterways, and various animals that are in our area.
