First graders had fun participating in various activities throughout the week to celebrate “Read Across America” with Dr. Seuss.



Third hour Tech also participated in Spaceball today. It was upperclassmen vs. underclassmen with the junior/senior team being victorious.





Spaceball was the STEM activity for Tech today. Teamwork and problem solving were the focus. We added a few relay races just for fun!





High School Scholastic Bowl placed second last night in the Fulton County Scholastic Bowl Tournament. Great job Ducks!

7th Grade Girls Volleyball heads to Pleasant Plains to start IESA Regional postseason play tomorrow, Saturday, March 6th. Match starts at 10:00 AM. Per IESA rules, no fans for either team will be allowed in attendance. Matches will be streamed on YouTube by Pleasant Plains. High School Girls Basketball back in action tomorrow, Saturday, March 6th, at home against the Farmington Farmers. JV game tips at 2:00 PM and the varsity game follows. the Ducks will honor their senior girls basketball players with a brief "Senior Day" before the start of the Varsity game. A reminder that anyone in attendance should enter the high school at the building's west side entrance near the main foyer and entrance to the high school gym. All spectators must have a ticket to enter and will need to sign in, as well as be temperature checked, upon entry. Those without a ticket will not be able to attend the event in-person. Masks are required for all spectators, coaches, and athletes. Digital Graphics students participated in a makerspace activity today creating flashlights.

Students in Mrs. Sarff’s room attended a virtual field trip sponsored by WIU. “The Show” took students through different decades of music. Everyone enjoyed watching the performance, dancing and listening. Some even showcased their mad air guitar skills.
