The HHS girls cross country team ran well today at Farmington. Kalei McDaniel finished 2nd overall and Jersee Hamm finished 9th.

Attention all Havana High School Students and Parents: School pictures will be taken Thursday, August 26 in the morning, 8 - 11 am. Picture order forms were sent home with students today. Seniors, this will be your yearbook portrait, so dress accordingly.
High School Athletes, please reminded Fall Sports pictures will be taken on Tuesday, August 24 from 1-4 pm. Bring all uniforms and gear for pictures to school!

The annual Meet the Ducks night is scheduled for tonight, Friday, August 20th. Come out and support your Ducks starting at 5:00 PM in the Havana High School gym for the HHS volleyball scrimmage followed by the events at Arthur Dufelmeier Field starting at 6:00 PM. All those attending the volleyball scrimmage must wear a mask when indoors regardless of vaccination status. Please enter at the west entrance near the main foyer area to enter the high school gym. The Havana Booster Club will also be holding a membership drive as well. There will be $1 gate fee. Sign up to be a Booster Club member and support Havana Duck athletes and you will get free admission along with a raffle entry for a free gift. Booster Club individual memberships are $10 and family memberships are $15. With your membership you will receive a hot dog and soda per family member, along with a free giveaway. If you are interested in joining the Booster Club, please talk to a member tonight. Also, anyone willing to donate sports drinks for the HS football team, the 12th man will be collecting those as people arrive at the main admission entrance to the football field. Those sports drinks will help support the HS football team during their games this season. Go Ducks!
JH girls softball travels to Midwest Central for a game this afternoon. First pitch is set for 4:15 PM. Today's game was originally scheduled with a shortened second game following the first but that will not be the case. There will be only one game. Good luck JH softball!
HS girls golf beats PORTA and Lincoln tonight at Shambolee. Ella Kramer led the Ducks with a 51. Abby Cowell and Maggie Porter each shot a 53. Chloe Turner shoots a 54. Good work by the Lady Ducks golf team!
Two JHXC girls earned medals today for placing in the Top Ten! Karley Hurst 3rd place and Kaysyn Jibben 6th place! All the girls ran a great race on a tough course. Go Ducks!
