Girls’ golfers shoot solid scores today at the Macomb Invite. Low scores for the Lady Ducks were Maggie Porter and Libbie Johnson with 110. Abby Cowell and Ella Kramer shoot 111, Chloe Turner with a 114.

7th & 8th grade science students have been doing an insect study of the Nature Center garden and schoolyard. Today several students caught monarchs on their migration to Mexico. Mrs. Tomm showed them how to tag the butterflies with a special sticker from the University of Kansas Monarch Watch program.

Varsity football travels to Rushville tonight for a Prairieland Conference matchup against the Rockets. Game starts at 7 PM. Due to construction, those traveling to the game should plan on parking behind Rushville High School. It might be best to arrive early to get a parking spot in the lot. Tonight will also be Homecoming for Rushville so pregame and halftime may be slightly different with extra events scheduled.
