There was a medical situation on board one of our buses in Matanzas Beach today. The situation is resolved. Thank you to our first responders from EMS and Mason Co. Sheriff for their quick arrival. Also, we are very appreciative of our transportation team who worked through this situation and made sure everyone was safe. Finally, be proud of our students, Havana!! A great group of kids handled the incident with calm and grace and did exactly what was asked of them.
HS girls volleyball hosts Illini West tonight. The night starts with a freshman match at 5 PM, followed by a JV match at 6 PM, and then concluding with the varsity match that will start shortly after the end of the JV match. The varsity football game this Friday, September 10th, the Havana HS cheer and dance squads are promoting the game for St. Jude's childhood cancer awareness month. Cheer and dance are encouraging fans attending the game to wear purple and gold that night. Go Ducks!
On Friday, September 10, the cheerleaders are asking all HHS Students and Staff to wear purple in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Students may pay $1 to wear a hat to school. All money collected will be given to St. Jude.

JH girls softball beats Maroa in a rain shortened game today 5-2. Unfortunately, the second game with Williamsville was cancelled due to weather. Ducks start IESA Regional play next Saturday, September 11th, against Athens. Go Ducks!
