New Central Elementary would like to welcome our students back to school tomorrow, January 4, 2022. We are so excited to see everyone! Doors open at 7:30 a.m. Start the new year off right and develop a schedule to ensure your student arrives on time. Students are expected to be in classrooms by 7:50 a.m. each day. We would also like to remind families that we go outside for fresh air as much as possible. Please make sure your students come to school with coats, hats and gloves. If they need any of these items, let us know! Let's make 2022 the best year yet!
Reminder...the originally scheduled HS girls basketball game for tonight, 1/3/22, with Jacksonville Routt was rescheduled due to an issue on Routt's schedule and will now be played on Saturday, February 5th, at 1:00 PM at Havana High School.
Lady Ducks take 4th place at Lady Tiger Classic. Congratulations to Taryn Wickman on making all tournament team.
HS Wrestling (19-9) added three wins: St. Joe 45-24, Carlinville 51-29, and Riverdale 42-40
Many of our wins came from upperclassmen fighting for bonus points and underclassmen fighting to lose by points and not the pin. It was a great team effort!

HS Wrestling (16-9) was placed in the bronze bracket of Abe's Rumble. We faced Robinson and lost 51-30.
Abe's Rumble continues tomorrow where we face St. Joseph-Ogden in our first of 4 duels.
Also tomorrow, JV travels to Eureka for an individual tournament.
