What an amazing way to start Red Ribbon Week at New Central Elementary! Our sidewalks and school are bursting with color; covered in banners, ribbons, and chalk drawings created to celebrate living drug-free. Today, our students wore red to show their commitment to making healthy, positive choices. Throughout the week, students will take part in mini lessons and activities focused on the importance of Red Ribbon Week and living a drug-free life. 🌟 🧦 Don’t forget, tomorrow is Crazy Sock Day!

Some of our amazing 4th graders lent a helping hand today by delivering Backpack Food Bags to classrooms! 🎒💪 It's inspiring seeing their smiles and teamwork. A huge thank you to the generous community members, volunteers, and donors who make the Backpack Program possible each week. Your support ensures that our students have what they need, both in and out of school. ❤️

🚌School Bus Safety Week🚌 What is the "Danger Zone"? This is the area a minimum of 10 feet around the entire bus. This area is especially tricky when loading and unloading your student. Pleas be mindful of the areas you are crossing when getting your child to and from the bus. Best practice- always cross at the front of the bus and never from behind or walking close to the sides of the bus.
