Last week Mrs. Brady's class snuck in one last trip to Peaches. This week to celebrate the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta we made waffle and candy air balloons as our cooking project.

Lady Ducks golfers placed fourth as a team today in the Regional tournament at a tough Arrowhead Heights course. Advancing to Sectional on Monday are Abby Cowell and Libbie Johnson.


Next week kicks off Homecoming 2022! HHS Student Council has been diligently working on making a fun week for all! Our theme is "GloCo HoCo."
Monday is "Class Colors" Day: Freshmen Yellow, Sophomores Pink, Juniors Blue, and Seniors Black. Tuesday is Neon Day. Wednesday is "Squad Day", Thursday is "Generations Day": Freshmen Babies, Sophomores Awkward Tweens, Juniors Adults, and Seniors Senior Citizens. Friday is "Spirit Day."
Students will be participating in class games each day. Points will be accumulated for Most Dressed, Best Dresses, Daily Game, Tug-of-War, Obstacle Course, and Class Float. The class with the most points at the end of the week will earn a pizza party.
At 12:45 pm Friday, the HHS Marching Band will lead the student body to the football field for a Pep Rally. The 2022 King and Queen will be announced at the rally. After the pep rally students will participate in an obstacle course and tug-of-war.
Students will be dismissed at 2 pm to prepare for the parade. The parade will step off at 2:30 pm.
HHS will take on West Hancock at 7 pm Friday night.
On Saturday, at 6:30 pm the King and Queen will be officially crowned at coronation.
