
Also during our 8th grade experience today we were able to see a former Duck in action...Sam Kachanuk, from the Class of 2010, was on hand to lend his knowledge of fire fighting. Sam is currently a Peoria Fireman. Go Ducks!


Havana 8th graders attended the Peoria Area Career Spark event at the Civic Center today. They saw many interesting professions to choose from not only in our area, but around the country...a great experience for our students! Go Ducks!

Today's activity involved class teams working together to pop balloons, but not touching the gym floor. The juniors utilized several creative diving techniques to win the relay.

Ducks Volleyball traveled to Macomb tonight to take on a tough Macomb program. Freshman and JV came up short. The Varsity fought hard losing in two close games. Go Ducks 🏐🦆

5th Girls Basketball: Ducks fall in a double-header to Brown County tonight. 5/6 is back in action at Macomb St. Paul on Thursday. Go Ducks!

JH football falls to Rushville tonight 22-8. Ducks will finish their season next Tuesday night at Macomb. Go Ducks!

New Central 4th graders participated in a Readers' Cafe last Friday morning before early dismissal. Students enjoyed activities, quieting reading, and, of course, treats and "lattes" from their favorite coffee shops including Dunkin' Donuts, "Starbooks" and Dutch Bro.
