Just a reminder that students at New Central go outside for recess daily. Even in cold temperatures, children need fresh air and room to run. Please send students to school with coats, hats, and gloves when appropriate. If your child needs cold weather outerwear, send a message to his or her teacher. Temperatures are expected to be in the 20s tomorrow, Oct 18 and students will need to dress appropriately.

Today, the HHS cross country team will hold a home meet and celebrate senior night. This meet will be held at Emiquon Nature Preserve at 4:15 pm.

JV football plays their final game of the season tonight at home against Macomb. Game starts at 6 PM. Go Ducks!

JH girls basketball hosts PORTA this evening. The night will start with a 6th grade game at 5 PM, followed by the 7th grade game, and concluding with the 8th grade game. Go Ducks!

HS cross country hosts Lewistown, Beardstown, and South Fulton for their final race of the regular season before postseason play. Today's meet will be at Emiquon Nature Preserve and starts at 4:15 PM. Good luck to HS cross country!

Reminder to Parents and Guardians: The 1st Quarter ended last Friday, so that means parent/teacher conferences are this week!
We have an early dismissal day for the district on Thursday: JH 1:50pm, HS 1:55pm, NC 2:05pm. Conferences will then be in the evening from 4pm-7pm, in each building...and again on Friday, from 8am-noon, so NO SCHOOL ON FRIDAY.
