The HS girls basketball game scheduled for Thursday, February 9th, will now be a varsity ONLY game starting at 6:30 PM. This date will also be senior night and we will honor our five girls basketball seniors before the game. Please make note of the change. Go Ducks!

Last Thursday evening, February 2, was New Central Night at the girls' varsity basketball game. The district bought Havana Duck T-shirts for every student at NC and the stands were full of them for the game. Students who completed their Winter Math Challenge goals received a free pass into the game and a free bag of popcorn. Those students were recognized at halftime and ran through the HS student tunnel to be cheered on by the crowd. Mrs. Boyce, who was working at the concession stand stated "They used such good manners, saying 'May I...?'. and 'please' that it was a pleasure to serve them and their families". Way to go, New Central students and families! Go Ducks!!
