
The Havana HS Chorus traveled to Bushnell-Prairie City High School for the Prairie Land Conference Choir Festival. Chorus members rehearsed all afternoon with schools in the conference on five pieces of music and performed a concert under the direction of Dr. Jason Hawkins, the Assistant Professor of Choral Music Education at Western Illinois University. The Havana High School Chorus also performed Lunar Lullaby by Jacob Naverud as an individual choir feature. It was a great day of music making with choral students in our conference! Go Ducks!

Yesterday we painted a project for St. Patricks Day in Kindergarten. The kids had a blast!!

First graders in Mrs. Southwood’s class were taught bicycle safety. Then using directional coding skills, they developed their own road map and tested each others’ knowledge.
