Reminder...Mason District Hospital will once again be providing FREE sports physicals for students this summer. Save the two following dates as options to get your child a sports physical for the 2023-24 school year...Thursday, June 15th and Thursday, June 23rd. Over the weekend at the Summer Games, 5 Havana Special Olympics Athletes competed in the state finals and brought home a total of 8 medals and 1 ribbon. Congratulations to Anthony, Jason, Gavin, Kyla, and Gabe.

With the IHSA girls softball season officially concluded, we'd like to congratulate our HS girls softball players that made the Prairieland All-Conference team for the South Division this year: 1st team (unanimous) - Lauren Herbst, Taryn Wickman, and Liz Waymire; 1st team - Hannah Hodgson; 2nd team - Libbie Johnson, Abby Cowell, and Kaydi Miller; Special Mention - Jaylynn Sarnes. Running club will meet at Veterans Park from 8:00-8:40 this Wednesday, June 7th. This is open to anyone going in to 5th grade or older.
Notice to all school and community members...the Havana High School track and football field area will officially be closed until further notice as the district upgrades the outdoor complex with irrigation on the field and the track resurfacing. Updates on reopening of the area will be provided by the district at a later time. We apologize for the inconvenience!

HS girls softball hosts Illini Bluffs for the IHSA Sectional Championship this afternoon. Game starts at 4:30 PM. Admission will be $6 for those that purchase tickets on the GoFan app and $7 for those that purchase tickets with cash. Gates open at 3 PM. Go Ducks!
