The New Central Winter Concert will take place tomorrow evening, December 20, in the HS gym. The 3rd grade concert begins at 6:00. Students students should arrive by 5:45. The 4th grade concert begins at 7:00. Students should arrive by 6:45.

HSGBB has been busy. We had JV & Varsity wins over Rushville last Friday, attended the Illini vs. Mizzou game as a team on Sunday, and had JV & Varsity wins over Farmington last night. Next up, we host Tremont on Thursday. A shortened JV game will start at 6 varsity will follow.

HHS Family and Consumer Science students spent a few days at New Central last week. They baked lots of yummy cookies and brought them to New Central so that 1st-grade and kindergarten students could decorate them. Thank you, Mrs. Holtman and HHS students for sharing your Christmas cheer!

Our 8th grade girls are getting ready to leave the JH with an escort through town for those that can come out and congratulate them in the downtown area. Go Ducks!
This morning at the Havana Junior High, the 8th-grade girls basketball team will be honored during our normal morning assembly around 8 AM. Parents and family members of the 8th grade team can attend this celebration. The girls will then be taken around the downtown area between 8:45-9 AM with a police escort for the community to congratulate them on their 1st place finish! Go Ducks!
