Last week Mrs. Brady's class made turkey brownies, celebrated kindness week, and made thank-you cards for various school employees and other members of our community.
Mrs. Brady's class learned all about the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, made Turkey and cheese sandwiches, and Rice Krispie treat pumpkins.

HS girls basketball travels to Canton tonight for a date against the Little Giants. JV game will start at 5:30 PM and the varsity game will follow. The JV game will be shortened due to low participation numbers so the varsity game may start earlier than normal. Go Ducks!
HS Wrestling (0-1) lost to Civic Memorial 29-44. It was an great match up between #20 1A and #19 2A.
We had over 20 JV matches with Civic Memorial and Beardstown, most of which we won.

Johnathan O'Connell was Principal for the Day at New Central! Principal O'Connell cleaned his desk, did some paperwork, and had his morning coffee (disguised as hot chocolate). He purchased the Principal for a Day pass using Duck Bills he earned from following school wide expectations.

8th grade girls basketball travels to VIT High School for their first game of the IESA regional against the host school, South Fulton, this evening. Game starts at 5:30 PM. Winner advances to the IESA regional championship on Wednesday, 11/22. Go Ducks!
Due to 2 days of inclement weather this week, the New Central Turkey Trot will be rescheduled for Tuesday, November 28. All times will remain the same. The first grade parent activity will take place tomorrow as originally planned.
