Welcome Back to the High School. Friday, August 18th is the first day of school. It is a full day. The handbook and bell schedule is located at the high school website under Menu, Documents.
Students are to be in the gym by 7:55 for an all school Assembly. We will operate on a different schedule for that day. We will ring the bells manually. Teachers will go over the portions of the handbook and their class syllabus. Last hour of the day we will pass out Chromebooks to the students and any Freshman who didn’t receive P.E. Uniforms will receive them. The district has decided to purchase P.E. uniforms and every year in coming Freshman will receive them. Students can still wear their old P.E. uniforms or the new P.E. uniforms will be available for purchase at $5.00 for shirt, $5.00 for shorts. We have insurance for the Chromebooks but if the computer is damaged from gross negligence then the insurance will not cover the computer repair/replacement and the student will be charged the cost of fixing or replacing the computer. All laptops will go home Friday and students are expected to come to school with them charged on Monday.
This year breakfast and lunch is free to all students as long as they take one regular meal. All extras will cost money.
Doors will open at 7:25 daily and students need to be in their seats in their classroom by 7:55. We are still entering through one door (the door by the gym in the North foyer).
There is no technology and athletic fee this year. Last day to change class will be Wednesday, August 23rd.
Again, it is essential if your student will not be attending school for some reason that you call the office to let us know the reasoning. We have a chronic attendance issue, so please parents and guardians let's have students here as much as possible. No slacking on their future! Thank You All for your support.
Let’s Go!
