On Wednesday Miss Harris's class went to Tanner's Orchard, where we got to go on a tractor ride and see the process of making apple cider behind the scenes. Today we had a caramel apple bar and used the apples that we picked. We even shared some treats with the office!

The students in Advanced Biology completed an earthworm dissection in class today. There were some nerves initially, but everyone enjoyed the hands-on learning experience today!


Mrs. Brady's class learned about the Ringling Bros & Barnum & Bailey Circus. and about The Disc Golf Championship. The Kids practiced their own tightrope walking and made circus hotdogs & popcorn. Then we played a few games of disc golf.




We have added an 8th-grade girls basketball game at the Lincoln Junior High Shootout on Saturday, November 4th. The game will be a matchup between the reigning 2A and 3A state champs from last year as the Ducks play Pittsfield. The game is scheduled for 7 PM on 11/4. Go Ducks!

We will be canceling New Central Night at the Varsity football game tonight, October 13. Unfortunately, the rain appears to be here to stay today. Students WILL be able to use their tickets to get into the game if they choose to go. We WILL NOT be singing the National Anthem or recognizing students at half-time. We are working to provide something fun at school for our students who met their fall reading goals.

Mrs. Holtman's Intro to Family & Consumer Science classes took a tour of the historic lofts of downtown as part of their Housing/Interior Design unit. Thanks to April Burgett for talking to our students about the history, interior design, and fun facts about our downtown.
