These students remind us how powerful their leadership can be and how proud we are to support opportunities that help our students grow.

It was an exciting day at New Central as we welcomed our first group of classes to the STEAM lab! All classes will get a chance to visit before the end of next week.
While today was mainly about learning expectations and procedures, there was still plenty of collaboration, communication, problem-solving and critical thinking taking place. We can't wait to see our students continue to grow these skills during future lessons.
Thank you to everyone in the community who do generously donated materials of funds to make the STEAM lab possible. Students were beyond excited when they saw all of the materials that they will have a chance to use. We are still collecting consumables. Please see the last picture for a list of these items.

Our Life Skills students were hard at work today playing Real World Math: Unexpected Events! 💼💵
Through this engaging math game, students practiced real-life problem solving, budgeting, and decision-making skills—learning how to handle unexpected situations that can come up in everyday life. It was great to see their focus, teamwork, and perseverance as they applied math in meaningful, real-world ways.
