Scan the QR code on the Book Buddy Lanyard that was sent home with your student to find out how the program works. Please read over the information describing how you can participate. Your student will earn a participation prize when they return the filled-out Student Lanyard to school, and they can earn more great prizes when your family and friends help our school raise money. DARE Invite in Delavan had 29 teams in attendance. The following runners all ran a personal best: Kendall McCausland, Chea Gibson, Paige Leming, Raylan Larson, Davis Snedeker, Kramer Wilcoxen, Phoenix Cox, Ben Young and Liam Lascelles. Great Job Ducks!
The HHS cross country team competed in the Elmwood Invite this morning at Maple Lane Country Club. Medaling for the Ducks was Kasyn Jibben who finished 22nd out of 180 runners. Go Ducks!
8th graders enjoyed exploring job opportunities at 2025 Career Spark in Peoria on Thursday.

5th graders enjoyed their trip to Dickson Mounds Museum today! They played Native American games, practiced flintknapping, used pump drills, identified furs, and toured the museum. This was a great way to finish our Native American unit! Go Ducks!
JH game tonight is at Cantrall Elementary School, not Athens High School.
Also, the varsity football game scheduled at Westmont Saturday has been cancelled. They do not have enough players due to some recent injuries.

New Central 3rd grade students and staff have been busy lately, and we are so proud of all the learning and experiences they’ve had!
✨ Students had a fantastic time at Rockwell Park for the recent 4-H Discovery Day, where they explored new and engaging learning stations.
📚 They also enjoyed a tour of the Havana Public Library; we’re so grateful for this wonderful community resource!
🎉 Another highlight was playing BINGO at Arcadia Nursing Home, where students shared smiles and time with the residents, building compassion and understanding.
Havana Schools are thankful for strong community partnerships that help our students learn, grow, and make memories beyond the classroom! #GoDucks
Havana boys golf played in Regionals today at Deer Run Golf Course in Hamilton. Ryan Gilson played really well shooting one of his best 18 hole rounds of the year! Miles Chapin played great and advanced to Sectionals!
