Havana High School hosted a Futures Day on Friday, March 20th and it couldn't have been more successful!
The school took advantage of the 1/2 day schedule and brought in 17 different presenters (across 13 presentations) to educate students on different careers they may pursue in the future.
The event kicked off with two keynote speakers: Mrs. Dana Adcock, Mason District Hospital, CEO and Mrs. Stephanie Howerter, Spoon River College Havana Director after which all high school students participated in the event as they rotated through four pre-selected presentations.
We want to thank all of the presenters for participating, the students of Havana High School for their excellent attention and questions, and especially counselor Amy McMahan for spearheading such an incredible experience for everyone!
